This is an excellent condition 3rd state butcher cover which also has an awesome peel, a very high quality specimen of this album.
It would be super hard to find better!
Unlike almost all butchers, the spine, edges and overall cover on this one are in super nice condition.  The spine has not begun to break, split or flake.  Actually, all of the edges are really solid.  There is no flaking anywhere, just very light wear to the other edges and corners.  The back is clean, but there is light discoloration, still much nicer than most butcher covers.
The only minor flaw is the punch hole but it's a minimal distraction and takes little away from the cover.
I can't detect any touch up to this cover.  It would take a keen and trained eye to find some if there is any.  Touch up on butchers is not all that uncommon, even on pro peels.
The one thing butchers rarely have though is a super nice cover like this one.
They are
so VERY RARELY
unencumbered with flaking edges or dark yellow discoloration and stains on the back, not to mention splits, tape marks, writing etc.  None of that on this one.  This cover was obviously handled very little, which is why it is in such great shape.
It is EXTREMELY HARD
to find butcher covers in this condition.
This album is all about the cover, but even the vinyl looks great with lots of shine and hardly any hairlines.  Comes with the original Capitol sleeve.
This item comes with superior double box packing (with vinyl out of cover) and the cover will be in double layer poly protective sleeves.  I
